Emailing guardians from Google Classroom is the easiest way to send out mass messages to the families of your students. To do this, you need to already have invited guardians next to each student in the People tab of your Classroom. If you haven’t done this already, I highly recommend you do. It will make your life so much easier in the long run.
Once you have invited all guardians for your students, you can follow the steps below to send out email messages.
- Open your Google Classroom
- Go to the People Tab
- Click on “Email all Guardians”
- In the window that opens up, all the emails for the guardians in your classroom are listed in the BCC field (so they won’t see each others email addresses). Compose your email message as you normally would.
